2024 Southeastern Swimming Summer LC Championships:

Hello Officials!

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer!  We are looking forward to our 2024 SES LC Championships coming up July 19-21 in Huntsville! My name is Laura DeMotte and I will be serving as the Team Lead CJ for our championship meet.

Please click the following Google Form link to apply to officiate no later than   July 10th.  If you are interested in an assigned position, please apply no later than   July 7th.

We will be running both pools and will look forward to having a large group of officials helping out.  Each morning, we will run concurrent sessions.  The 13 & Over Prelims will run in the Competition Pool while the 11-12 Prelims and 10 & Under Timed Finals will run in the Legacy Pool.  On the application form, you will have the ability to select a pool preference for each session and/or indicate that you are available to help out wherever needed.

This is a National Officials Qualifying Meet and you have the opportunity to be evaluated for certification/recertification in USA Swimming's National Certification Program. Anyone requesting an evaluation must be able to officiate a minimum of four sessions at this meet as well as fulfill USA Swimming's requirements for evaluation which can be found on the   USA Swimming website. You may request an evaluation via the above form when you apply to officiate the meet.

Chief Judge (CJ) and Administrative Referee (AR)/Administrative Official (AO) clinics will be offered as follows:
  • CJ clinic: Saturday at 7:15 AM
  • AR/AO clinic: Sunday at 7:15 AM
Uniforms will include a white polo over navy bottoms with white shoes. You are welcome to wear shorts for Prelims sessions.  For Finals, please wear long pants or a skirt.

I will send additional details and information as we get closer to the meet.  In the meantime, please feel free to reach out with any questions.

On behalf of our Meet Referee, Donna Williamson, and myself, thank you so much for sharing your time and talents with our swimmers and for your service to our sport! ☺️

Thanks,
Laura DeMotte
Team Lead CJ
